Last month, on the 24th of July, Europe was in Lublin, the second time this year in Poland. Of course, I was present at this special event and even was able to see my eye-to-eye favorite band.

We were waiting for the guys while there was a thunderstorm and continuous downpour for two hours. But in the end, when the band finally arrived, the scene was ready for performance and we experienced another unforgettable show.

Today I will give you only one question: What is your interpretation of the lyrics? Of course, I mean The Final Countdown.

I have raised this topic on the Polish forum yet here there will be more various opinions, from all over the world.

Just taking the country of origin, you can have different associations with “Venus” or “leaving together”.

Hi, I am not in front of my PC, writing this post, just standing in the row in Lublin. In ten minutes’ time Europe will start their gig and in about 90 minutes’ – The Final Countdown will be played.

Who has seen them on Last Look At Eden tour? If you haven’t, there are still some gigs which will be mainly in Sweden, in August and September. I can also tell you that The Final Countdown is gorgeous this time during gigs, even if you can hear it as..the farewell song.

By the way, what do you think of the fact, that The Final countdown is played as the last track? How would you arrange tracks during Europe tours?

I had an opportunity to see Europe live last June, now it is another opportubity…

The Final Countdown is alive. Going by plane, I will really hear, again the roaring of engines, much longer while during the first seconds of this gorgeous song…
